Magic Mirrors
Easy to install. Installed in less that 1/2 hr.. Haven't taken the bike for a ride sense I installed them.. but they feel secure.. Just one thing I wished they had is a safety strap just in case the mirror falls off.. If it had that I would have given it 5 stars

Magic Mirror Magnet Set
Installed on new 2018 Spyder RT Limited. When I rode it home the first time, the mirrors shook. Learned later on the web, this is a know problem for those bikes. Seriously, thankful for this product. I installed each side in about 15 minutes per side. Now - this is a SLIGHT gap between the faring and the mirror, about 1/8th of an inch. It's not bad, but I am a perfectionist, so I modified a bit. Not saying you have to. The one side worked great with the three magnets. Great product and I typically use everything that comes in the kit...but for my machine, I re-installed the top pin because the mirror slides down and locks the top. Was I afraid the magnet would release...nope...but this is a good lock and I used the two lower magnets in the kit. I then took out the black washer in the front magnet and used both lower magnets, but only one black washer the one on the rear lower magnet. Again, the kit as is...is wonderful, no worries and I would buy it and leave it without hesitation because the stock mirror retention system on these bikes is DISMAL at best. No I slide it down on the top lock and the two "very strong" magnets grab and seat it and with only the back lower black washer installed there is an even gap in the back that looks factory and zero gap in the front and these puppies are rock solid. I have spent a lot of money on accessories for my Spyder...but this one...is a MUST have.

Nice product
Installation went smoothly with one exception. For some reason, the holes in the metal plate that mounts to the mirror on the right side would not line up to clear the screw heads on all three screws at the same time. Fortunately, the metal is quite soft and I was able to ream one of the holes out using a small round bastard while the metal plate was locked in a shop vise. I picked the lower front to ream out. It was only off by maybe .004 inch but it was enough to keep the plate from seating tightly to the magnet. I know this because before I reamed it out the mirror broke loose when I hit a Rail Road Crossing. Yes, I had made a lanyard to hold the mirror just in case of the mirror coming off on a bump. And yes I could have picked any of the three to ream out. I could always get 2 to seat tightly but never all three and just on the right side so there's no telling what was out of proper alignment on my spyder. SELLERS NOTE: This problem has been solved on all future products!!!
