Great Remote I had lost my old this one programed in about 30 seconds
THIS REMOTE CONTROL GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO TURN OFF THE LED'S ON THE BUMPSKID IF YOU DON'T WANT THEM RUNNING. IT ALSO LETS YOU DIM, CHANGE MODES TO STROBE AND OTHER COMBINATIONS.

What I got had newer connectors and plugged into my existing system easier.( No bullet connectors.)

Yesterday leaving Dubuque, Iowa heading east with bright sun to my back I set LED to strobe so oncoming vehicles could see me in their sunlight. Later when it got darker I wanted to not strobe and found remote locked up and wouldn't respond so I unplugged the bumpskid LED. Later I checked these reviews and discovered remote & controller are very sensitive to car door remotes and other transceivers so somehow I got buzzed by a stray remote. Found out there is default reset by pressing both speed + and - at same time. Remote then read new code and functioned prefect again. Please put this reset instructions in future documentation. Thank you Spyderpops for an awesome LED Bumpskid controller.

Small folder on operation of remote insufficient on operation. After receiving two remotes was unable to make it work.went on internet read many reviews, there I found out that remote & controller very sensitive to car door remotes and other transceivers. Found out there is default reset by pressing both speed + and - at same time. Remote then reads new code and functions prefect. It would of been helpful if an additional note had been instructions. Other than that snag, nice product with many settings. Spyderpops very quick and helpful to resolve issue.

This remote control is a very nice addition to the LED bumpskid. With it you can dim or brighten the LED's and make the LED's flash at various speeds. Pretty cool and operates as expected.

I purchased the SpyderPops RT bumpskid w LED’s for my 2018 RTL. I was on the fence about buying the remote, but bought it to try it out. Very glad I did. Made wiring bumpskid easy (one connection) and it allows me to change brightness and mode. I’m glad I have the option to change LED features, can’t do that without the remote.

Received the remote controller with my Bumpskid. After installing the Bumpskid I plugged in the remote module and nothing happened. The LEDs came on but the remote had no effect on them. None of the buttons caused anything to happen. After contacting Harvey a new remote control was received in two days and it worked perfectly!

Love the remote feature. Saves the life of the LED's so that you do not have to run them all the time. It also allows you to change modes with the lights to make the bike look awesome! The only thing better would be if it were on a key chain so that you could carry it with you all the time. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
