    BajaRon’s Magnetic Mirror Kits make for easy side mirror removal, as well as stabilization to minimize shake while riding down the road for all 2010-2019 RT Models.
     
    If you work on your own bike, you will love this product! (and if you don’t do your own work, trust us, your mechanic will love you for making this upgrade).
    To do pretty much any maintenance work on these models, you have to remove the mirrors – often times this is no easy task and risk of breaking the plastic stock mirror mounts is something even the professionals can be concerned about. And often times these plastic mounts do need to be replaced. Magnetic Mirror Mounts are a simple solution to these common problems!

     

    *Please note that during installation, magnets can break if snapped back together. Once magnets are separated, be sure to place them a good distance apart to avoid “snap back”. We cannot replace broken magnets due to installation error.

      I was so excited to get them and install them, they worked great until I went for a ride, the temperature gauge did not like the magnets, tried all six magnets, flipping them changing their order, nothing worked on my 2013 Spyder RTS, finally I put the original mounting brackets on the right side and the magnets on the left side. I found out if I disconnect the temp and fuel gauges, they move the digital display and they are much more accurate, with this modification I can install the magic mirrors back on the right side. I am waiting for parts to upgrade the two gauges with USB and digital voltmeter, the magic mirrors are awesome which was the reason I tried to find a solution to be able to use them. The majority of Spyder owners did not have this issue, I am just one of the unlucky ones.

      MAGIC MIRRORS MAGNET SET TO HOLD YOUR MIRRORS WAS EASY TO INSTALL. THEY SHOULD COME WITH THIS ALREADY INSTALLED WHEN YOU MAKE THE INITIAL PURCHASE. SINCE REMOVING THE MIRRORS IS THE 1ST STEP TO BE ABLE TO DO ANY MAIINTENANCE. THE CLIPS DON'T LAST.

      Instructions called for washers on both sides of the magnet. Good thing I tethered the turn signal wire plug. Both mirrors popped off at 20 mph. Once I called and confirmed the fix the magnets work well.

      I can't believe how easy these were to install. Now my mirrors come off in seconds. No spyder owner that does his own work should be without these. It also reduced the loose mirrors to zero. When you watch the video he is not kidding about being strong. I got pinched and a big blood blister but no damage to magnets. I ended up keeping them a foot apart I recommend this product.
