RT LOWER RADIATOR BLOCK OFF PLATE
FOR THE RIDER THAT DOES NOT USE HIGHWAY PEGS!
If you are one of many that never puts their feet up on the black plastic water deflectors or have highway pegs then this will help save your right foot from burning up while riding around town or on the road.
It moves all of the heat from the radiator to the top outlet and above your foot that is on the stock peg and brake pedal.
NOT FOR USE WITH UPPER RADIATOR BLOCK OFF PLATE

Radiator exhaust lower block off plate
it does protect your right foot, still not sure how it effects the cooling system, I need to test it in July or August Florida weather to see how it holds. I am keeping the tools in my bike in case I am forced to remove it, but so far so good.

Lower and Upper Block Off Plates
Lower vent makes driver foot hot on the RT. Upper tends to make passenger foot hot. Harvey said you could use both plates together, but must remove the bottom pan... But no one talks about adapting the inside deflector. I removed the bottom side pan and 2 lower bolts for the inside deflector. Then cut the bottom half of the deflector off, rerouting the wires and securing the wires and deflector with wire. The plates themselves are good. Now to test in hot weather...

Works Great!
I installed the lower block-off plate yesterday and went for a long ride wearing sandals just to see if I would get a hot foot. No more hot foot! thanks for a great product. I also did not notice any engine overheating. It was easy to install once you get the screw started!

Easy to install
I ordered and put this piece on my bike. I haven't tested it on a ride yet, but I'm positive that it's going to work. The instruction was really easy to understand and follow. I installed it in 10 minutes.

Again, OUTSTANDING
Again , another great product for the spyder !! Still, a little too cold to feel the difference, but living in the northeast doesn't help lol... Easily installed, but when installing with the stainless grille, you need a longer bolt.. A quarter inch or so... Otherwise, GREAT !!!!
