2014 - 2019 RT/RTS/LTD - BumpSkid TM Ultimate protection for your Roadster.
Dual purpose, functions as a bumper and skid plate with the look of a stylish spoiler. Your worries are over, no more expensive paint damage. No more dangerous evasive moves to miss roadkill or tire treads and if a live small critter jumps out in front of you, well you know.
Made from 3/8” black HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), tough and slick. Replaces that tiny skid plate that lets you tear up your body.
It attaches to the lower flexible area for impact absorption without damaging the body. Ground clearance is not a problem due to the thin profile. It protects everything from the nose to the suspension including the leading edge of the frame. There is no interference with servicing or cooling as it covers the bottom of the trunk area only!
The coverage eliminates air drag from the open cavity under the nose. Added down force is created by the spoiler styling.
Very easy to install with all hardware and instructions included and shown below.

Great directions!!
I was able to install the bump skid in 45 minutes! I took my time. The directions were well written and easy to follow. The pre drilled and countersunk holes made the job fool proof. I have not had a chance to ride my Spyder since I installed it!!

Spyder Protection!
One of the best products on the market to protect that valuable front tupperware from expensive damage. Very durable product to protect your bike from rocks, parking blocks, driveway entrances, potholes or any hazard that can damage the underside of the spyder. I call it cheap insurance compared to the repair costs. The Bumpskid is a "Must Have". Installation is a breeze.

Take the old one off unscrew from the spyder put the new up there and drill from the holes the from new one that's it

First time shopper!
Fast delivery.Well packaged and excellent instructions. Had my neighbor help hold the bump skid to drill and start the screws. I would suggest two extra hands when installing. We had it on in less than half an hour. Looks great! Will buy from Spyderpops again for my other add ons.

2015 RTS Bump Skid (non lighted)
Having already scraped my Frunk I thought it was time to get the Bump Skid. It is a little larger than I anticipated but looks OK once the Spyder is down. It mirrors the body lines well. Installation is not a big deal and the directions are good.

2015 RT Limited Bump Skid (unlighted)
The satisfaction for this transition started when I called to order it. It was shipped the same day, and got to me two days later. Now that's good service. Well packaged, and everything needed to do the install except tools. The instruction sheet was concise with good pictures, and very easy to understand directions. It is obvious that much thought went into putting this product together, and everything installed just as advertised. This has to be one of the best modifications I've made to my Spyder. Thank you very much.
