THIS SPLASH PLATE IS DESIGNED TO WORK GREAT WITH OUT ADDITIONAL FLAPS OR EXTENSIONS TO THE FENDER. BEWARE THAT IF YOU SHOULD ADD FLAPS OR EXTENSIONS THAT COULD CAUSE THE FENDER TO HYPEREXTEND OVER THE SPLASH PLATE IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR.

Just what I was looking for. I did not want to drill holes in my rear fender and this provided the same results at a lower cost.

RT TRAILER SPLASH/ROCK GUARD PLATE
Nice to have this unique custom fit plate that fits on new BRP 2018 RTL hitch. It filled in the gap while allowing clearance for fender. Very thought out functional simple plate that looks like it belongs.

Looks like part of the trailer
The installation was fairly easy. The instructions and pictures on the directions could be a little more detailed and clearer. Especially if the person is not to "handy". Overall, it looks good and matches the trailer.

Great rear end protector
Just returned from 2000 mile trip after installing splash plate. Although I did not have the opportunity to ride in wet messy road conditions it did keep the back of the Spyder MUCH cleaner than previous trips. Installation was very simple, shipment was fast and had an immediate replacement of activator which was broken when I first received my splash plate. Spyderpops was great to deal with!

Splash plate
Gives the trailer hitch a finished look. I haven't been in the rain yet but happy with just the looks. It was very easy to install.

RT OEM Hitch mud / splash guard
We added this per recommendations from other Spyder Ryders as we're new to trailering with our 2014 RT Limited. The install was easy with super clear instructions and photos. A nice touch was to include a drill bit for the holes needed for the two screws. Looks great and look forward to the results of limiting the mud, rain, etc. from coming up the back of the bike or on the trailer. Nice product and instructions.

A must have item
If you have the RT with the BRP hitch this is a must have item to keep rain and mud from slinging up on your back while riding.

Necessary item with oem hitch
Super easy to install and looks like it came with the hitch. Works as intended, keeping the missus dry.

RT Trailer Splash and Rock Guard
After many miles of towing with our 2012 RT-Limited with the stock BRP hitch, I was looking for a solution for the spray and dirt after every ride. There are several options in the market including homemade fixes but the Spyderpops solution appeared to be a more professional appearance and easy installation. I was pleasantly surprised when the kit arrived (quickly as with all of their products) to find the shield not only looks as good as the pictures but it is built very strong to take a beating if necessary. The fit was perfect and it looks great on the bike. Thank you!
